If we talk about Kohlberg Kravis Robert and Co. (KKR), it means we talk about Henry Kravis also. His reputation as business financier and investor is no longer a doubt. His actions always result new things, whether for business and social life. His profile has been discussed by people and media in all over the world at this planet.

Henry Kravis was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is the son of Bessie (Roberts) and Raymond Kravis. His father is a successful oil engineer who had been a business partner of Joseph P. Kennedy. His education began at Eagle brook School. He spent his high school education at The Loomis Chaffee School. He was graduated from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California in 1967 before going on to Columbia Business School when he received MBA at 1969. Before building Kohlberg Kravis Robert and Co., Henry Kravis was working at various jobs in New York City’s financial sectors. He also ever joined with the Bear Stearns as staff. He and his cousin, George R. Roberts, worked under the corporate finance manager, Jerome Kohlberg, Jr. That was the start when they met and then continue their invasion in business and investment by building KKR. Because of his records of accomplishment, Henry Kravis is known as one of the successful investors in the world.

However, his good reputation in business and career does not followed by his success at the married life. Henry Kravis has been married three times. First wife is Helena Diane Shulman (deceased in 1997). His first marriage gives three children before divorce in early eighties. His second married was with Carolyne Roehm, a New York designer. This second married was ended with divorce at 1993. Henry Kravis is currently married to a prominent Canadian economist, former columnist and TV personality Marie-Josse Drouin.
